Industrial Maintenance Technician
Automation Personnel Services is looking for an Industrial Maintenance Technician to work for a company based in Tampa, FL. In this role, you will primarily be responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing manufacturing machinery.
Pay Rate:
$25.00 - $26.00 per hour; depending on experience
Schedule and hours
Monday to Thursday from 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM; must be able to work overtime.
Monday to Thursday from 4:15 PM to 2:45 AM; must be able to work overtime.
Industrial Maintenance Technician Duties and Responsibilities:
- Install, repair, and maintain industrial machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance such as conveyor belts, gearbox, etc.
- Disassemble machinery and equipment when it needs maintenance or repair
- Perform tests and operate machinery to ensure it functions properly.
- Adjust and calibrate equipment and machinery to optimal specifications.
- Perform electrical work on various types of machinery and electrical systems within the manufacturing facility.
- Inspect, install, maintain, test, troubleshoot, and repair industrial electrical equipment, control systems, and other related devices.
- Read manuals to understand equipment and controls.
- Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics, and electrical code specifications to determine the layout of electrical equipment installations.
- Document control, record maintenance processes, parts orders or needed, etc.
- Use Computerized Maintenance Management Systems.
Industrial Maintenance Technician Requirements and Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 5+ years of Industrial Maintenance experience
- Experienced in general and preventative maintenance/repair of industrial production equipment and buildings, including analysis and diagnostics.
- Experienced with all working tools, AC / DC electrical systems, PLC, calibrated measuring instruments, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
- Experience interpreting diagrams, blueprints, charts, schematics, and documents.
