Automation Personnel Services is looking for a Maintenance Technician for a company based in Harrisburg, NC. In this role you will be responsible for being an experienced Maintenance Mechanic to ensure our manufacturing equipment operates at peak performance. This role involves preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs to keep production running safely, efficiently, and with minimal downtime.

Days worked as needed, typically from 6:45am until work finished, with overtime as needed.

Maintenance Technician Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform machine changeovers, start-ups, and adjustments to meet production needs.
- Conduct routine preventive maintenance on all production equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical components, including bearings, filters, wiring, valves, gauges, and switches.
- Inspect, dismantle, and replace defective parts to restore optimal function.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to guide repairs and installations.
- Lubricate, clean, and maintain equipment to ensure operational reliability and uphold 5S standards.
Maintenance Technician Qualifications and Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 3–5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment (or equivalent training/experience).
- Hands-on electrical troubleshooting experience.
- Skilled in reading and interpreting technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
- Proficient with precision measuring tools (amp meters, electric meters, hydraulic gauges).
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, and decimals).
- Professional, dependable, and self-motivated work ethic.
