Job Description
MATERIAL HANDLER WITH FORKLIFT
Automation Personnel Services is seeking a Material Handler with Forklift experience for a fabrication shop in Ringgold, GA. This company is locally owned for over 25 years using state of the art CNC Technology. This position is full-time temporary to hire.
Pay Rate
1st shift: $17.00 per hour
1st shift: $17.00 per hour
3rd Shift: $18.00 per hour
Schedule and Hours
1st shift: 6:00am-4:30pm Monday-Thursday with OT on Fridays
1st shift: 6:00am-4:30pm Monday-Thursday with OT on Fridays
3rd shift: 6:00pm-4:30am Monday-Thursday with OT on Fridays
Material Handler with Forklift Duties and Responsibilities
• Use Microsoft office to email and enter data into excel to track inventory.
• Use Microsoft office to email and enter data into excel to track inventory.
• Monitor inventory levels of all materials being consumed and restock as necessary.
• Ensure that proper raw materials being delivered to production
• Responsible for performing job duties utilizing a forklift in a safe and conscientious manner
• Must conduct safety inspections of all equipment that they will be utilizing throughout the shift, complete daily records as required.
Material Handler with Forklift Qualifications and Requirements
• Proficient in Office and Excel software
• Forklift experience required
• Previous experience with handheld scanners
• Pass tape measurement test to 1/16.
• Prior experience with different types of metal
• Lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly (in office assessment will be conducted)
