We currently have open assignments for Assemblers for a Fiber Optic and Copper Cable Manufacturing Company in the Tampa, FL area- 33619. We offer great benefits - vacation and holiday pay, along with healthcare benefits and 401K! There is also a potential for bonuses!
This is a Temp to Hire Position! Positions available for 1st and 2nd Shift!
Pay Rate: $9.50 / Hour plus great benefits
Shift Times: 1st shift 5am-1:30pm/ 2nd shift 2 PM - 10:30 PM, Monday-Friday;
**** Some Overtime & Saturday s required
Performing electrical and mechanical assembly operations to detailed work processes on fiber cables. Person will be working closely with other Assemblers, Technicians and Engineers in the area. Position relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
Duties, Responsibilities and Requirements:
Perform assigned tasks consistently
Responsible for maintaining a clean work area and clean room standards where applicable
Responsible for product quality as defined by established procedures and product drawings
Work independently or as a team member at assigned workstation and change to different workstation as directed by area leader
Assist other operators as required
Support all production processes
Perform other related duties as required by management
Basic Math Skills
Familiar with various hand tools and measuring devices.
Ability to perform to verbal instructions, as well as read/write English and interpret all packaging documents
Ability to read schematics, part list and job order.
Employees MUST be able to read a ruler Work in repetitive in nature.
Employees must have reliable transportation.
