Automation Personnel Services is looking for an oil field Diesel Mechanic for a company based in Fort Worth, Tx. In this role, you will primarily be responsible for performing routine maintenance and preventative maintenance tasks on heavy equipment.

$25.00 per hour

Schedule and Hours
Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm with some Saturdays.

Diesel Mechanic Duties and Responsibilities
• Inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing diesel-powered vehicles and equipment. Including tasks like routine maintenance, diagnosing problems, and performing repairs on engines, transmissions, and other mechanical and electrical systems.
• Use diagnostic tools and equipment to pinpoint issues.
• Repair or replace faulty parts and components.
• Test-Drive vehicles to ensure that they are running smoothly.
• Follow all motor vehicle repair shop regulations and standards.

• Must have at least 1 year of Diesel Experience.
• Must have at least 1 year of CAT, DETROIT, and PACKER experience.
• Must have basic computer skills as well as basic math skills.
• Must have a clean drug screen and background.
• Must be able to ask probing questions to understand customer needs, overcome objections by recommending profitable solutions, and ask for the order.
• Must have at least 1 year of Diesel Experience.
