Automation Personnel Services is looking for a Fastener for a company based in Baton Rouge, La. In this role, you will be responsible for securely assembling, fastening, and joining components using a variety of tools and fastening methods. This position ensures that all fasteners are installed according to specifications, safety standards, and production requirements.

$15.00 per hour

Monday through Friday, 7:30 am to 4:30 pm.

Fastener Duties and Responsibilities
- Select and prepare appropriate fasteners, bolts, screws, rivets, or other hardware for assigned tasks.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and fastening equipment safely and efficiently.
- Align and position parts or components to be fastened according to blueprints, diagrams, or work orders.
- Inspect completed assemblies to verify correct installation and secure fit.
- Identify and replace defective or worn fasteners as needed.
- Follow production schedules and meet established quality and efficiency goals.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and OSHA regulations.
Fastener Qualifications and Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
- Previous experience in manufacturing, assembly, or construction (preferred but not required).
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and work instructions.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and fastening equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and quality.
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
Work Environment
- Manufacturing or warehouse setting.
- Exposure to loud noise, dust, and moving machinery.
- Requires use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
