Job Description
Forklift Operator
Automation Personnel Services is looking for an experienced Forklift Operator for the Baton Rouge, LA area. In this position you will have an opportunity to contribute to the efficient operation of a warehouse by safely operating forklifts, supporting inventory management, and ensuring timely movements of goods throughout the facility.
Pay Rate
$16 per hour

Schedule and Hours
Monday through Saturday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

Forklift Operator Duties and Responsibilities
• Receives incoming shipments, checking the packing slip with shipment for completeness
and accuracy before placement in the appropriate warehouse location.
• Notifies appropriate personnel of receipt of all special orders.
• Loads and unloads trucks.
• Notifies appropriate personnel of receipt of all special orders.

- May operate a forklift to move materials and unload vehicles.
- Maintains an organized, clean, and safe work area.
- Follows Safeguards rules and regulations.
- Other related duties as assigned.
Forklift Operator Qualifications and Requirements
- Prior experience as a forklift operator.
- Valid driver’s license.
- High school diploma or GED, preferred.
- Forklift or heavy machinery certification.
