We are currently seeking HR Manager for a Manufacturing Company in the East Tampa, FL area. We offer great benefits - vacation and holiday pay, along with healthcare benefits and 401K! There is also a potential for bonuses!

Pay Rate: 45k-55k Based on Experience

Summary/Objective:
The human resource manager is directly responsible for the overall administration, coordination, and evaluation of the human resource function. This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: benefits administration, employee relations, training, performance management, onboarding, policy implementation, recruitment/employment, affirmative action, employment law compliance, and payroll.

Essential Functions:
Develops, recommends and implements personnel policies and procedures; prepares and maintains handbook on policies and procedures; performs benefits administration to include claims resolution, change reporting, administers various human resource plans and procedures for all company personnel; assists in the development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures; prepares and maintains employee handbook and policies and procedures manual.
Administers the compensation program; monitors the performance evaluation program and revises as necessary.
Performs benefits administration to include claims resolution, change reporting, approving invoices for payment and communicating benefit information to employees.
Develops and maintains an affirmative action program; maintains other records, reports, and logs to conform to EEO regulations.
Conducts recruitment effort for all exempt and nonexempt personnel, students and temporary employees; conducts new-employee orientations; writes and places advertisements.
Handles employee relations counseling, outplacement counseling, and exit interviewing.
Maintains company organization charts and the employee directory.
Assists in evaluation of reports, decisions, and results of department in relation to established goals. Recommends new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in the efficiency of the department and services performed.
Maintains human resource information system records and compiles reports from the database.
Maintains compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment
Informs management of any changes in employment law
Prepares payroll weekly and bi-monthly
Will work on Group Level Projects and meetings
Performs other duties as required and assigned

Required Education and Experience:
A bachelor s degree and three to five years human resource experience
OR
5 plus of experience in the HR field, or any similar combination of education and experience

Additional Eligibility Qualifications are a plus:
SHRM-CP certification and/or
PHR certification
