Automation Personnel Services is looking for hard-working Housekeeping Supervisor for a medical facility in Mobile, AL. In this role you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment within the facility. You will play a vital role in patient care and safety by minimizing the risk of infection and creating a comfortable environment for patients and staff.

Pay Rate
1st Shift - $15.00 per hour
1st Shift - $15.00 per hour
3rd Shift - $16.00 per hour
Schedule and Hours
Shifts run 7 days per week- days off rotate
Shifts run 7 days per week- days off rotate
1st Shift 7am-3:30pm
3rd Shift 11pm-7:30am
Housekeeping Supervisor Duties and Responsibilities
• Supervise respective shift and associates ensure compliance with hospital standards

• Appropriate handling and disposal of medical waste
• Clean & disinfect patient rooms, restrooms, hallways, waiting areas, and other public spaces
• Adhere to strict infection control procedures, such as proper hand hygiene
• Properly disposing of various types of waste, including regular trash and potentially hazardous medical waste, according to established protocols
• Communicating effectively with nurses, doctors, and other healthcare staff, and interacting with patients and their families in a professional and courteous manner
Housekeeping Supervisor Qualifications and Requirements
• Shift lead, management or leadership experience required
• A keen eye for detail is necessary to ensure thorough cleaning and disinfection

• Effectively managing time to complete assigned tasks within established timeframe
• Clear and effective communication with colleagues

• Understanding of proper cleaning techniques, infection control protocols, and safe use of cleaning products.
• Ability to perform tasks that require lifting, bending, and carrying.
• Lift 25lb throughout workday (in office assessment will be completed)
