Automation Personnel Services is looking for an experienced 400-Ton Industrial Press Operator for a fabrication company based in Jasper, TN. This 400-ton industrial press requires a highly skilled, experienced candidate for the metal fabrication department.

Pay Rate
$17.00-$18.00 per hour based on experience

Schedule and Hours
6:00 am to 2:30 pm Monday through Friday

400-Ton Industrial Press Operator Duties and Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and monitor the 400-ton industrial press to fabricate metal parts according to technical specifications and production schedules.
- Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and instructions to determine required materials, press settings, and production requirements.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance of the press, including lubrication, cleaning, and minor repairs to ensure optimal functioning and longevity.
- Adjust press controls and dies to accommodate different metal thicknesses, shapes, and sizes as needed for specific jobs.
- Inspect finished products for quality assurance, checking for accuracy, defects, and adherence to specifications.
- Maintain accurate records of production output, machine settings, and maintenance activities.
400-Ton Industrial Press Operator Qualifications and Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in metal fabrication preferred.
- Proven experience operating heavy industrial presses, preferably in a metal fabrication environment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with press operation, die setup, and maintenance procedures.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and production documentation.
- Lift 50lbs throughout workday (in office assessment will be conducted)
