Production Operators 

 
Automation Personnel Services is looking for Production Operators for a company based in Houston, Texas. In this role, you will have the opportunity to advance your career while being a key part of a dynamic team in a fast-growing, woman-owned manufacturer of pipe manufacturing and fabrication company.  

Pay Rate  
$12.00/$16.00 per hour 

Schedule and Hours  
Monday through Saturday, 7:00am to 7pm 

40+ hours a week, sometimes over 60 hours per week.  

Production Operators Duties and Responsibilities 

• Oversaw production of all CC pipes, operating machinery and maintaining consistent material supply to feeders  

• Monitored production runs visually, recording output and documenting materials utilized 

• Set up molds and prepared workstations at project launch to ensure uninterrupted workflow 

• Applied stencils and barcodes to completed pipes for precise identification and traceability 

• Verified routing of Production Orders within the ERP system, ensuring required testing and processing steps were followed 

• Maintained a clean, safe, and organized production environment in alignment with safety protocols 

• Diagnosed and reported mechanical issues and product defects to appropriate supervisory personnel 

• Recorded mold changes accurately to preserve detailed production documentation 

• Collaborated with Quality Control to confirm ISO compliance and uphold high product standards 

• Coordinated with the Pressure Pipe Production Manager to ensure all pipes received proper pressure testing 

Production Operators Qualifications and Requirements  

• 1–3 years of relevant experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment  

• Strong working knowledge of safety protocols, industry regulations, and ISO compliance standards 

• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities across teams and departments 

• Meticulous attention to detail paired with strong organizational and time management skills 

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook 

• Bilingual or multilingual proficiency is highly advantageous
