Saw Table Operators 

 
Automation Personnel Services is looking for Saw Table Operators for a company based in Houston, Texas. In this role, you will have the opportunity to advance your career while being a key part of a dynamic team in a fast-growing, manufacturer of pipe manufacturing and fabrication company.  

Pay Rate  
$12.00/$16.00 per hour 

Schedule and Hours
Monday through Saturday, 7:00am to 7pm 

40+ hours a week, sometimes over 60 hours per week.  

Saw Table Operators Duties and Responsibilities 

• Operated saw table machinery and ensured proper maintenance to support uninterrupted production  

• Reviewed product specifications and job descriptions to identify correct pipe assignments 

• Set up and calibrated saw workstation at the start of each job, reporting mechanical issues promptly to supervisor 

• Verified stencil and barcode details to determine accurate pipe length requirements 

• Confirmed work order data using physical files and SAP system prior to initiating tasks 

• Maintained a clean, organized, and safety-compliant workstation throughout all operations 

• Identified and escalated equipment malfunctions or potential defects to appropriate supervisory personnel 

• Documented and updated all pipe length modifications to ensure accurate records in both pipe files and SAP system 

Saw Table Operators Qualifications and Requirements  

• 1–3 years of practical experience in a manufacturing or production environment  

• Well-versed in industry standards, workplace safety protocols, and regulatory compliance 

• Strong communication abilities with the capacity to collaborate effectively across departments 

• Exceptional attention to detail and superior organizational habits 

• Basic working knowledge of SAP software for production and inventory tracking 

• Multilingual skills or bilingual proficiency considered a strong asse
