Maintenance Technician - Southeast Houston Area 2 Shifts available Mon thru Sat 7am to 5: 30pm and 4: 30pm to 5am.
Assists with the coordination and management of personnel work activities within distribution. Works collaboratively with other department leaders to ensure production or distribution material flow by planning, assigning, and assisting the work. Supports the job safety, productivity, and training of their work group. Provides input and recommendations with respect to personnel matters including hiring, firing, discipline, promotion, demotion, etc.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Trouble shoot, repair and maintain all electrical & mechanical attributes of equipment within the plant.
Fill out daily activity reports.
Maintain spare parts inventory
Cross train in different areas of maintenance.
Communicate with supervisor & maintenance personnel on activities.
Ability to work with 480/220/110/24
Other tasks as assigned.
Knowledge, skills and abilities:
Strong electrical ability.
Ability to operate fork lifts.
Strong trouble shooting skills, electrical & mechanical.
Good Organizational skills.
Good communication skills.
Good ability to listen and understand written and verbal instructions.
Strong sense of urgency.
Must have own tools.
Ability to read and interpret blue prints, schematics, and BOM.
Ability to read all types of measuring devices.

Diploma / Ged Equivalent
