Candidates are required o coordinate and plan for a sufficient flow of work through the supply chain to meet customer demands and business objectives. Conduct inventory and safety, stock audits to ensure material and parts availability.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Separate and distribute printouts such as schedules, back order reports, production from prior day, re-promise due.
Add work orders utilizing information from MPS system and knowledge of Kanban availability roll mill schedules and purchased parts.
In conjunction with Cell Manager (usually weekly), review future production requirements to determine production cycles and quantities needed.
Communicate raw material requirements to Corporate Purchasing once a month.
Assist, as needed and directed in providing require information to Plant Customer Service.
Assist in year-end physical inventories. Work with Supervisor on cycle counting and key in quantities while being aware if variances.
Perform other related duties as assigned or required.
Meets expectations for attendance and punctuality and works overtime as required.
Experience and Skills:
18-24 months experience in a similar or related position with general office and planning experience.
Candidates must have knowledge of office administration practices and activities.
Must have good verbal and written communication skills, good problem solving and collaboration skills, dependable, detail orientated and work well in a team environment.
Computer proficiency required in Microsoft Office software, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
The ability to stand, walk, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and exert up to 25 pounds of force occasionally.
Shift Time: 6:00am-2:00pm (Overtime Required)
Pay Rate: $15 hourly
Background and Drug Testing is required.
Must be 18 years or older.
Proper, unexpired documents required to complete the Federal I-9 process.
