Second Shift Steel & Metals Warehouse Associate
Automation Personnel Services is seeking a skilled Second Shift Metals Warehouse Associate for a metal distribution center located in Alpharetta, GA. With over a century in business, this company is recognized as a leader in the metals industry. This position involves a variety of tasks including handling materials, tracking inventory, operating forklifts and overhead cranes, and completing other assigned responsibilities.

Pay Rate
$18.00 per hour

Schedule and Hours
Monday through Friday, 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm
Overtime may be mandatory
Second Shift Steel & Metals Warehouse Associate Duties and Responsibilities
• Safely load, unload, and move steel and metal materials using overhead cranes and forklifts.
• Receive, label, and record incoming and outgoing metal shipments.
• Stage, position, and prepare materials for processing or distribution.
• Support shipping operations and enter data into warehouse management systems.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
• Perform additional duties as needed.
Second Shift Steel & Metals Warehouse Associate Qualifications and Requirements
• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 2 years of hands-on work experience in the steel, aluminum, or metals industry.
• Prior forklift and overhead crane experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to read a tape measure accurately and perform basic math.
• Basic computer knowledge for order entry and inventory tracking.
• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on safety and teamwork.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs repeatedly during the shift; lifting assessment required.
• Drug screening and background check is required.
