Automation Personnel Services, Inc., is now hiring candidates for a Supply Chain Coordinator in Montgomery, AL. We need highly qualified people like you!

This position is responsible for providing administrative support for the Supply Chain Department. Duties include compiling and furnishing the necessary data to the buyers to create and expedite purchase orders and maintain a desirable inventory level.

Essential Functions
Reconcile/code invoices and assist in the management of payable schedules to include but now limited to freight, duties, credit card, safety shoes, uniforms, etc. By utilizing ERP software, Glovia and MS Excel.
Create and maintain purchasing files, project files and all other supply chain documentation.
Enter data maintenance information cost, analyst codes, lead times, item/vendor cross reference, acknowledgement report (ACK), etc. Into Glovia/ERP system or excel spread sheet.
Create and furnish information/materials (including shipping/receiving documents) to and from various departments utilizing MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and sourcing software.
Complete material transfers to warehouse, plant and customer consignment locations (using ERP system).
Expedite orders and aid in the resolution of any delivery inconsistencies or delays utilizing the ERP system and through email and phone contact with suppliers.
Provide administrative support to purchasing team by import/domestic shipment tracking, invoice processing, direct container/domestic carrier shipment monitoring, office supplies, etc. (ERP, Outlook, Word and Excel)
Assist the purchasing team as required with various projects and transactions.
Obtain data and perform statistical analysis (including the creation of graphs and charts) to generate monthly operational reports and forward to internal and external stockholders (scorecard, KPI data, forecast, shipping/receiving performance, etc.)
Process purchase orders following established purchasing department procedures utilizing ERP software and Microsoft Office.

Position Qualification Requirements
Education: Associate s degree in business or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience: Must have a minimum of three years experience in a similar position, preferably in a business or manufacturing environment.

Skills/Knowledge
Requires intermediate or higher proficiency with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and Power Point. Must process excellent organizational skills, be attentive to detail and demonstrate consistent follow-through on work assignments. Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills required. Ability to work well in a team environment. Ability to analyze data and solve problems. Experience with and ability to handle international business a plus. Past experience with ERP systems required with a preference for experience with Glovia. Previous experience with construction products preferred.

Physical Activities/Demands
Normal office environment. May involve the ability to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects of up to 15 to 20 pounds, infrequently.

Shift Time: 7:00am-4:00pm (Overtime May Be Required)
Monday - Friday
Pay Rate: $15.00 hourly

Requirements:
-Background and Drug Testing is required.
-Must be 18 years or older.
-Proper unexpired documentation required to complete the Federal I-9 process.
