Treater Tester (Quality Inspector)

This position will require work on 2nd and 3rd shift. Pay is $12.00 per hour. The Treater Tester will:
Use a PC with various software programs to enter required data that includes, but may not be limited to: Quality test data into the quality system, inventory transactions, material substitutions, OEE information, Extraction programs, etc.
Follows documented procedures and testing techniques. This may include the verification and/or actual calibration of specific test equipment settings.
Perform routine analytical tests and report results to the Treater Operator so proper machine adjustments can be made.
Disposition Treated materials per part number specifications in the Quality System.
Retest prepreg materials as necessary.
Effectively use a tape measure, Vernier Caliper, micrometer, feeler gauge and other measuring devices as necessary.
Ensure the correct raw materials are used per Work Order BOM.
Works in conjunction with Quality Assurance to ensure the materials produced conform to internal and industry quality criteria and specifications.
Adhere to established Safety, PPE and Quality criteria
Handle and store chemicals properly, including disposal of chemical waste per internal and RCRA standards.
Effectively communicates with Area Lead and/or Maintenance when equipment problems arise.
Effectively communicates with Engineering and Quality Assurance to address any quality issues with the produced product or raw materials.
Assist in Preventive Maintenance as assigned.
Cross train in other areas.
Assist other operators to ensure timely shipment of product.
Maintain cleanliness of assigned work areas including equipment, tools, and work surfaces.
Use Lean/Six Sigma Methodologies to improve the process.
All employees will be required to participate in training and continuous improvement events.
Ability to work within a company registered/compliant to National and International Standards and Requirements, and contribute to those standards and requirements. For example: ISO, EICC, OSHA, etc.
