Pay Rate
$15.00 to $20.00 per hour

Schedule and Hours
Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm (Fabrication Shop)
Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm (Fabrication Shop)
Monday through Sunday, 12 to 16 Hour Days (Off Sight Work Hours)
Certified Welder Duties and Responsibilities
- Lay out, fit, and weld together metal components such as pipes, pressure vessels, structural steel, tanks, and boilers
- Read and interpret schematics: Analyze blueprints, diagrams, and work orders to understand project requirements, specifications, and welding procedures
- Use various welding processes, which can include Gas-Metal Arc (MIG), Flux-Cored Arc (FCAW), Gas-Tungsten Arc (TIG), and Shielded Metal Arc (Stick) welding
- Clean, cut, and prepare working materials by clamping and fitting components together for the welding process
- Inspect completed welds to ensure they meet specifications and perform necessary repairs on broken or cracked parts
- Strictly adhere to all company safety policies, industry standards (such as AWS and ASME codes), and project rules
Certified Welder Qualifications and Requirements
- A high school diploma or GED equivalent
- Current and relevant welding certifications
- The ability to pass a pre-employment performance test
- Must have valid TWIC, OSHA certification, SS Card and Valid Driver License
